In 1982, Bill took the reins from his father, the founder of Burris Construction Company, and has become a visionary and proven trophy builder. Bill’s foresight into what is needed to design and build a quality, efficient and profitable ALF or SNF has led to the development of prototype models that have become industry standards. He has been responsible for development in excess of $500M in the healthcare industry.

Bill is not only a leader in the design/build arena for the healthcare industry but is also responsible for such specialty centers as the Summit Surgical Center, the first surgical center in New Jersey, and the Heart Center, Mount Laurel, NJ.

Bill is the third generation to take the helm of Burris Construction Company. As Executive Vice President and COO he will be responsible for managing the zoning and planning application process as well as running the company’s day to day operations. Formerly Vice President of Marketing, Bill will continue to oversee and manage the Company’s advertising, promotions and public relations.

James has over 39 years of experience and expertise in the construction industry. During the majority of those years he served as President of large-scale development companies. He brings this perfect combination to his position as a leader for Burris Construction Company.


A. David Yeager

Senior Vice President / President, Electric Division

David has nearly 20 years of providing contract work for Burris Construction Company for the installation of electrical wiring systems for Burris senior care and healthcare centers. As a member of the Burris executive management team, he will oversee all state-of-the-art electrical programming for environmentally sensitive initiatives that include LED lighting, solar power and sophisticated computer wiring systems.


Sophia P. Furris, Esq.

General Counsel / Senior Vice President

Sophia, a graduate of Rutgers Law School, brings extensive experience in the areas of land use, land development and real estate. As General Counsel for Burris Construction Company she will oversee all real estate matters including land development and related regulatory matters, redevelopment and commercial and residential transactions.


Vincent Lucidi

Vincent brings to the Burris executive management team over 20 years of project management experience in the construction of senior care facilities. As Senior Project Manager, he will be responsible for supervising project teams, project scheduling and coordination, sub-contract bids and awards and NJDCA review coordination.
